Data deletion requests
How to request deletion of data associated with a Holdout Labs advertising-platform connection.
Effective September 4, 2026
Disconnect the provider
A workspace administrator can disconnect the provider connection in Holdout Labs. Disconnecting the provider stops future reads through that connection and removes the stored provider credentials from Holdout Labs, but it does not by itself delete information already imported. Holdout Labs also attempts to revoke the provider grant when the connection is disconnected. You can separately revoke access through the connected Google or Meta account.
Request deletion
To request deletion of data associated with a Google Ads or Meta Ads connection or another Holdout Labs account, email hello@holdoutlabs.com from an address that can be associated with the affected workspace or advertising account. Include your name, the provider, and the account or workspace details needed to identify the request. Holdout Labs is operated by Holdout Labs Inc.
What happens next
Holdout Labs will confirm the request details, verify that the requester is authorized to make the request, locate the affected account and connected-provider information, and use its operational deletion process to delete identifiable connected-source data and customer-linked records derived from it that Holdout Labs controls from active systems within 30 days after verification. We will confirm completion or explain any information that applicable law requires us to retain. Do not include passwords, access tokens, or other credentials in an email request.
What deletion covers
An approved request covers identifiable imported advertising-platform data, customer-linked records derived from that data, stored connection credentials, and associated Holdout Labs account or workspace information that Holdout Labs Inc. controls. We may retain limited records only where applicable law requires retention. Residual disaster-recovery copies are restricted from ordinary use and removed through their scheduled backup lifecycle; if restored, the deletion request remains applicable. Data controlled directly by Google or Meta must be managed with that provider.
