Terms of service

Agreement and service purpose

These terms are an agreement between you and Holdout Labs Inc. They apply when you access or use Holdout Labs unless a separate written agreement with Holdout Labs Inc. governs your use. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Holdout Labs is an event-marketing measurement and decision-support service. It brings together advertising reporting, ticketing context, creative information, and event milestones so a team can review supporting evidence before deciding what to do next.

No automated advertising changes

Holdout Labs does not automatically change an advertising account. Budget, targeting, creative, and campaign changes remain actions for the customer's team to make in the applicable advertising platform after manual review.

Accounts and provider connections

You must provide accurate account information, safeguard your sign-in credentials, and use only workspaces and data you are authorized to access. You must have authority to connect every Google Ads or Meta Ads account you authorize. The current provider connection is used for read-only reporting and analytics; it is not a grant of authority to manage that advertising account.

Acceptable use

You may not use Holdout Labs to violate law or another person's rights, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, or obtain access to another customer's workspace or data. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or connected providers.

Third-party services

Provider connections are also governed by the applicable provider's terms and policies. Holdout Labs is not responsible for changes to a third-party service, the availability or accuracy of provider data, or an action a provider takes on an account it controls.

Ownership and feedback

You retain rights in information you submit or authorize Holdout Labs to access. Holdout Labs Inc. and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, documentation, and related materials. If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it to improve the service without an obligation to compensate you.

Availability and decisions

Analytics and recommendations depend on the information available to the service and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and for business, advertising, and financial decisions. Except where a written agreement says otherwise, the service is provided as available and without warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and disconnect provider accounts at any time. Holdout Labs may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, a security risk, nonpayment under an applicable written agreement, or when required by law or a connected provider.

Written agreements and applicable law

A signed customer agreement controls if it conflicts with these terms. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in effect. Applicable law governs these terms as stated in the controlling written agreement or, if there is none, as required by law. Questions can be sent to hello@holdoutlabs.com.
